Located in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge national scenic area, Wishram offers K through 12 grade education to 100 students. Operating on a single campus and , the district offers the many benefits of a small school district as well as outstanding supplemental programs that draw on the talents of our staff and the resources of surrounding communities. One such example is the partnership with the Lyle School District to offer combined athletics.
The district also sponsors annual community activities such as a events celebrating the area’s Native American history, open houses, seasonally themed family events such as the Halloween carnival, Winter program and the annual lip sync/silent auction fundraiser. Wishram offers the quality of life of a small community and the beauty and recreation activities of the Columbia Gorge National Scenic Area. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy fishing, hiking, mountain biking, and windsurfing just minutes from the district. An abundance of museums, vineyards, orchards, and cultural opportunities, restaurants,
and shopping venues are all available within an hour of the district.
The Portland/Vancouver metropolitan area is a picturesque 90 minute drive from Wishram
